CUA CHAIRMAN ARAM SATIAN’S NEW YEAR ADDRESS FOR 2023

Dear colleagues:

The past year was full of many memorable moments for us, as we celebrated the 90th anniversary of our Union. During the year, numerous concerts, competitions, exhibitions, concert tours in the border areas of Armenia and Artsakh were organized, and a number of repair works were carried out both in the administrative building of CUA and in the Composers’ Creativity House after E. Mirzoyan in Dilijan. The whole year was full of beautiful works of composers, but, unfortunately, our joy cannot be complete when we realize that a few hundred meters away from us, in Artsakh, our compatriots are under siege, and the eastern border of the Republic of Armenia is constantly under attack due to the violent behavior of the Azerbaijani leadership. We pray that God willing, the coming year will be a year of peace for our country and our people. We express our support to all Armenians of our beloved Artsakh, our compatriots, with the belief that the civilized world will eventually listen to our demands and condemn the aggression of Azerbaijan. However, first of all, it is our unity, thanks to which a bright tomorrow will open for our country. Therefore, I wish us to be even more united, stronger, I also wish new creative achievements, and may peace be established in our country with the blessing of God.
