INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY WAS CELEBRATED IN DILIJAN

On August 12thThe celebratory event, titled “Young Dilijan 2026,” was held at the Ed. Mirzoyan Composers’ House and the Beethoven Concert Hall in Dilijan under the slogan “Different environments, common aspirations.”

During the open-air portion of the event, educational and youth organizations operating in the city presented their activities, programs, and opportunities. The pavilions of the “Apicius Armenia” International hospitality school, the “Armenekoop” Women’s Social entrepreneurship foundation, the “Fab Lab” Armenia educational foundation, the “Green” training center, and the H. Sharambeyan children’s school of fine arts were also located there.

Master classes in fine arts, pottery, and engineering were organized for young people, and cultural initiatives by youth displaced from Artsakh and national minorities were presented. A DJ provided musical accompaniment for the event.

The day continued at the Beethoven Concert Hall, where the opening ceremony took place, featuring performances by renowned violinist Karen Shakhgaldyan and his students, followed by a performance by the band “ReForm”.

“Young Dilijan 2026” provided a wonderful opportunity for young people to meet, exchange new ideas, create, and share experiences, turning the day into an active and meaningful gathering.
