1938-41 – studied at the composition class of the Baku Conservatory.
1944-47 – studied at the composition class of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK)
1931-41 – conductor of folk instruments ensemble in Baku, Andijan, Grozny
1941-44 – participated in the Second World War. He was the leader of the newly created variety orchestra of the soldiers-musicians of the 89th Armenian Rifle Division. A. Satunts’s song “Glory to the Soviet Army” (by A. Grashi) was written during the hot days of the war, was published in the “Lenin Flag” newspaper, the organ of the Transcaucasian Military District.
Since 1945 – worked in the “Armfilm” film studio as the head of the music department
1949-74 – worked in the State Committee of Radio and Television of Armenia, as the chief editor of the music editorial department, then the responsible editor of the musical compositions editorial department
1950-1955 – artistic director of the self-made song and dance ensemble of the Tamanyan Division, won the 2nd prize at the Olympiad of the Transcaucasian Military District
1938 – Musical comedy “Oriental Dentist” (by H. Paronyan)
1946 – Sonata-poem for piano
1947 – Symphonic poem “Zangezur”
1967 – “Holiday Dance Suite” for brass band
1979 – Vocal-symphonic series “Songs of the reborn Nairian country”
