Received secondary professional education in Yerevan

1933-1935 – composition department at the Moscow Gnesins music school (prof. Gnesin)

1941 – graduated from the Moscow Conservatory

Yerevan State Conservatory (lecturer). Closely associated with folk music

1934 – Suite for 2 pianos

1935 – Piano preludes

1935 – Suite for symphony orchestra

1936 – Prelude and Fugue

1936 – Pieces for violin and piano

1937 – Sonata for cello and piano

1938 – String Quartet

1939-1940 – “Davit of Sassoon” symphonic poem

 

Died in the Second World War in the city of Mogilev, Belarus.
