BIOGRAPHY

1957 – Graduated from the composition department of Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. G. Yeghiazaryan)

1961-1976 – Lecturer at the Romanos Melikyan Music College

Since 1970 – lecturer at the YSCK (1989 – professor)

Since 1974 – chairman of the board of the Armenian department of the Music Foundation

Operas.

Autor of instrumental and vocal songs, music for movies and drama performances. Arranged folk songs.

1972 – Honored Art Worker of the ASSR
