BIOGRAPHY

Received secondary education in Tbilisi, graduated in 1940

At the same time, he studied in the musical decade

1941 – admitted to Tbilisi State Conservatory

1946 – moved to Yerevan and continued his studies at Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK), graduated in 1950

1951-1953 – studied in Moscow, at the House of Armenian Culture

1956-1966 – ASSR Radio and Television Instrumental Quintet (leader)

1961-1987 – YSCK lecturer

Since 1982 – YSCK professor

Head of the composition class at the music college after Romanos Melikyan

1950 – Symphonic Poem

1952 – Quintet

1953 – Overture for symphony orchestra

1940 – Ballet “Chess”

1958 – Rhapsody for violin and orchestra

1948-1960 – 24 piano preludes

1978 – Piano Concerto

Songs, romances, theater and film music, piano arrangements of Armenian folk dances.

His music was used in the movie “Tzhvzhik”
