1950 – graduated from Tbilisi Conservatory
1951-1953 – improved as a composer in Moscow
Since 1961 – taught at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK)
Since 1982 – professor
Author of 2 piano concertos (1950, 1953), sonata, 24 preludes, variations, concert pieces. Among the works he wrote for the symphony orchestra are the poem “To my Motherland” and the “Dance Suite”. In addition to preludes, romances have become widely popular (by Avetik Isahakyan, “I’m a singer”, “Sev Acheren”, “To my Motherland”, “Night has come”).
