1973 – graduated from the composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. G. Yeghiazaryan)
1976-1985 – State music college after R. Melikyan (lecturer)
1976-1980 – Armenian Radio and Television variety symphonic (conductor)
1985-1990 – Composers Union of Armenia (CUA) (head of the musicology center)
1990-1993 – Peace Fund of Armenia (deputy president)
Since 1995 – the Armenian Choir (art director)
Since 2000 – the Armenian Choir of Greater Worcester of the state Massachusetts (art director)
Since 2008 – Boston “Yerevan” Choir and Orchestra (art director)
Since 1997 – Rhode Island Armenian Music Festival (president and artistic director)
2003 – Armenian Music Assembly (member)
Since 2014 – Foreign Committee of the CUA (co-chairman)
