1956-1960 – State music college after R. Melikyan (prof. Ed. Baghdasaryan)
1960-1965 – composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. Gh. Saryan)
1967 – YSCK post-graduate (prof. L. Saryan)
1967-1986 – Professor of modern music theory at the YSCK
1992-1995 – held the position of rector of the YSCK
1988 – “The Snow Queen” ballet (by H. Ch. Andersen)

1964 – Concerto for organ and string orchestra

1976, 1981, 1983 – 3 concertos for cello and orchestra
