BIOGRAPHY

1966-1971 – composition department of Baku Conservatory, then passed a trial period under the supervision of Y. Fortunatov (Moscow)

Since 1989 – Professor of music theory and composition at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK)

6 symphonies, 1971, 1974, 1982, 1987, 1989, 1998.

2008 – Adagio “Imitating Alexander Harutyunyan” (to A. Harutyunyan)

2010 – “Garden of Stones-2” paraphrase for symphony orchestra based on a theme by japanese composer G. Guino

2011 – member of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, Hannover.

2011 – RA Ministry of Culture (gold medal)
