Born on 29/11/1955 in Yerevan

BIOGRAPHY

1983 – graduated from the composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory.

1987 – the postgraduate course of the composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory (Prof: Ed. Mirzoyan)

Early 1990s – moved to Moscow, “Praktika” publishing house (head of the music department)

2003-2007 – “Muzika” Moscow state publishing house (deputy director)

Author of the idea of the Russian edition of “The Grove Concise Dictionary of Music” and one of the initiators of its implementation.

2004 – organizer of a corporate musical evening at the A. Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow with the participation of a number of famous musicians, including Denis Matsuev and Boris Brovtsin.

2007 – cooperation with Yuri Bashmet, to present his work “Gives and Begs” in the great hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, premiered with the “Moscow Soloists” orchestra (conductor Yuri Bashmet).

Member of the Moscow branch of the Union of Composers of Russia.

Works performed in the USA, Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Composed chamber and symphonic music, for films and theater.

1980 – “Piano Sonata” – International Competition of Composers in Moscow (1st prize)
