Born on 10/04/1949 in Yerevan
Studied at the Anushavan Ter-Ghevondyan Music School. Took composition classes of composer E. Aristakesyan at the same period
1966-1969 – composition department at the State music college after Romanos Melikyan (prof. E. Baghdasaryan)
1970-1975 – composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. G. Yeghiazaryan). “Brave Nazar” – as a diploma work
1976-1989 – teacher of composition and theoretical subjects at Yerevan Art School No. 1
Since 1989 – teacher of the department of musical folklore at the YSCK
