Born on 15/06/1963 in Yerevan
1981-1985 – string department (cello) at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK).
1982-1983 – conducting lessons (prof. V. Gergiev)
1983-1988 – composition department at the YSCK (prof. Ed. Mirzoyan)
1990-1996 – artistic director of the “Pyunik” folk music ensemble.
1993 – concert tours in Switzerland
1991-1994 – principal at “Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex” in Yerevan.
1995 – concert tours in France
2005 – founder of the “Oshakan” ensemble of medieval music
2006-2008 – artistic director and conductor of the same ensemble. Concert tours in France, Switzerland, Monaco, Germany
2007 – founder of the “Oshakan” trio. concert tours in France (Festivals Pontoise, Thoronet), Switzerland, Canada (International Sacred Music Festival in Quebec):
Since 2013 – soloist and founder of the «Les Violons d’Arménie» string quintet. The quintet performs with new Armenian string instruments
His music arrangements are performed by many ensembles in different countries.
Since 2013 – in cooperation with the Composers Union of Armenia presents works of Armenian contemporary composers (on cello and armenian viola)
2013 – in cooperation with “VivaVoce” choir in Montreal, presented the the works off Komitas and armenian medieval music, as composer and soloist
2014 – in cooperation with Armenian National Opera Orchestra performed medieval baroque music in Yerevan as a conductor and composer
2015 – International Cello Festival dedicated to Armenian music in the Netherlands (in Zutphen) as conductor and soloist
2015 – in cooperation with «Les Violons d’Arménie» presented the “World dances” program at the “Narekatsi” Art Union
2015 – in cooperation with the Armenian Chamber Orchestra performed works of Komitas and armenian medieval music as a conductor
2015 – in cooperation with the «Parnasus» orchestra, concerts in the Netherlands (in Zutphen) dedicated to Armenian music as a conductor and soloist
Since 2019 – cooperates with the «Consonancia» orchestra in Portugal and «Aiken Civic Orchestra» in South Carolina as conductor, soloist and program manager
