Born on 03/07/1959 in Krasnodar (Russia)
1967-1974 – piano department of Music School No. 2 in Krasnodar
1978 – graduated from the composition and theory departments at the music school after A. N. Rimsky-Korsakov in Krasnodar
1983 – graduated from the composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. G. Yeghiazaryan)
Since 1988 – Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan (ASPUKA), YSCK, State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (as a lecturer)
Since 2000 – “YSCK Publishing House” and “Musical Armenia” magazine (as editor)
1984-1987 – theoretical subjects at the Music Pedagogical School of the Krasnodar Territory. Worked at Yerkramas Radio as a stereo program editor.
Since 1988 – lecturer at the ASPUKA, YSCK and Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema.
Since 2000 – editor of the publishing house of YSCK and “Musical Armenia” magazine.

Song “Circus” – national contest of the “Arevik” youth ensemble (1-st prize), and the best song in the song contest by the “Vana dzayn” radio station in Beirut.
Since 2007 – academician of the International Academy of Nature and Society.
2003 – UNESCO commemorative medal of the 100th anniversary of A. Khachatryan
