1974-1989 – jointly managed the position of head of the newly created recording cabinet at the YSCK

Nelly Avetisyan is the author of scientific works, articles dedicated to musical theater, performing arts, analysis of composers’ works, individual creative portraits, took part in international and national conferences, gave public speeches and lectures, from the days of the earthquake, actively participated in the process of reconstruction and development of Gyumri’s culture, gave lectures, designed and participated in the organization of festivals, creation of “Art and Time” magazine, was a consultant of YSCK Gyumri branch, author of the first publicly available encyclopedia (“Opera”) in Armenia.
With her personal projects and initiative, a number of collections of musicological works were selected, compiled and published, including the book “Classics of Armenian Music of the 20th Century” about the Armenian Quintet (E. Mirzoyan, G. Saryan, A. Harutyunyan, A. Babajanyan, A. Khudoyan).
On her initiative, 3 collections of vocal, instrumental and piano works of Artsakh composers were collected and published for the first time, as well as other publications – articles in the Armenian Encyclopedia, etc.
Author of a series of radio programs, participated in author’s TV programs devoted to issues of modern art, theater, works of Armenian composers, organized festivals, conferences, meetings and discussions with cultural figures.
