BIOGRAPHY

1984-1988 – State music college after R. Melikyan (teacher: N. Shakhparonyan)

1988-1993 – piano department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. M. Mkhitaryan)

1997-2000 – post-graduate course at the YSCK (musicology) (prof. I. Tigranova)

Since 2002 – lecturer of the music history department at the YSCK (associate professor)

2003 – PhD at the National Academy of Sciences of The Republic of Armenia (NAS RA) “Paths and problems of the development of Armenian piano music” from the 80s of the 19th century to the 70s of the 20th century

2006-2010 – “Archesh” publishing house of the Union of Composers of Armenia (director)

2010-2012 – courses in psychology at the Yerevan State University

Since 2011 – Department of Internal Quality Assurance of Education at the YSCK (head)

2008 – “G. Tigranov-100” monograph, “Archesh”

1997-2001 – public activities at the G. Sarajyan music school (methodical reports, and speech to the thematic concerts)

2004 – member of the international conference-festival comity “Avet Terteryan-75” (Tradition and Innovation)

Narine Avetisyan is organizer of many international seminars, conferences and trainings on higher education, expert at the National Center for Quality Assurance (NAQAC) Foundation, M. Kokzhaev-70, K. Kushnaryan, V. Balya, etc. seminars, flashmobs with various themes: “See and do not ignore”, “A. Terteryan”, “Komitas-150” and others, “Culture and Future” in RA, annual international festival “Terteryan’s Time”, performance of the Avet Terteryan’s 1st Symphony at the House of Chamber Music, many charity events, international online meetings and master classes, concert-lectures in Yerevan and in the regions of the RA, member of the working groups of the “Repair of National Instruments” pre-professional state educational standard and pre-professional modular programs being developed by the National Musical Instruments Association, many international seminars, conferences and trainings on higher education (Stockholm, Tallinn, Lisbon, etc.), international conference “Prospects of Internationalization of Higher Education” within the framework of the ERASMUS+BOOST (“Strategy of Internationalization and Marketing Promotion of Armenian Universities”), exhibitions dedicated to the 100-year jubilee of the YSCK.
