1951 – graduated from the theoretician-composer faculty of Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas
1954 – graduated from Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi
1941 – Participated in the Great Patriotic War. As a steadfast fighter of the 89th Armenian Rifle Division, he fought with his comrades of the 400th Regiment in Crimea and Sevastopol
1944 – on May 9, he was wounded in one of the battles for Sevastopol, after a long treatment, he was discharged as a 2nd group invalid in November of the same year
1951-1961 – lecturer at the Romanos Melikyan Music College (head of theory department)
Since 1961 – lecturer at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK)
Since 1971 – associate professor of YSCK, then professor of music theory department
Author of choruses, plays. Creator of the theory of the universal superlative Tone System of music.
