Since 1960 – Art Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA)

1975-1981 – Chairman of the musicological section of the CUA

1979-1998 – member of the board of CUA

1980-1989 – member of the editorial board of the magazine “Soviet Art”, member of the International Council of Traditional Music of UNESCO

1991 – in recognition of the merits of K. Khudabashyan, on the occasion of the scientist’s 70th birthday, the Gitutyun (“Knowledge”) publishing house of the NA NAS RA published the book “Outstanding Armenian Women Scientists. materials of biobibliography”, 1st volume of the series, with an extensive preface “Karine Emanuelovna Khudabashyan”, candidate of art history, associate professor A. Baghdasaryan

2008 – thanks to the direct efforts of K. Khudabashyan, the Institute of the NAS RA was published a unique PhD thesis by A. Kocharyan on the topic “Percussion and wind musical instruments in Armenia”

2011 – by decision of the Academic Council of the Art Institute, the monograph by K. Khudabashyan “Armenian music in the aspect of program musicology” was published.
