Composer, violinist, viola d’amore specialist

Participated in World War II, was imprisoned in a concentration camp, fled to Vienna, then to Italy
Studied at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, mastered the violin and viola d’amore, becoming the only Armenian specialist in the latter in the world
Since 1948 – Began to teaching (received the title of professor)
Since 1950 – lived in New York. Was a member of the American Society of Composers and Authors
1993 – his anniversary evening was held in Yerevan
Songs, choruses, symphonic works, pieces for piano, violin, viola d’amore, oboe (performed in the USA)
Concerto for oboe and orchestra
1962 – “Tekeyan” Center Award (Beirut)
