BIOGRAPHY

1953 – Graduated from the violin department of the Tbilisi state conservatory after V. Sarazhishvili

1959 – Graduated from the composition department of the Yerevan state conservatory after Komitas (prof: Ed. Mirzoyan)

1953-1960 – worked as a violinist at the Yerevan state opera and ballet theater after A. Spendiaryan

1960-2002 – professor at the Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan

Since 1970 – the Artistic Director of the Council of the Composers Union of the ArmSSR
