DISCUSSIONS ON INCLUSION OF KOMITAS CONSERVATORY IN UNIFICATION PROJECT OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS ARE CAUSING A WAVE OF MISCONCEPTIONS, REFLECTIONS AND OUTRAGE

– Discussions on the inclusion of Komitas Conservatory in the project of unification of universities are causing a wave of excitement, concern and outrage not only among professional musicians and artists, but also among the general public who understand the importance of real values ​​and cultural institutions.

For many musicians of the Diaspora and abroad, Komitas Conservatory is a high and bright beacon of professional education, to which they aspire and under its name they present themselves to the world.

The Conservatory should be maintained as an Alma Mater Studiorum, an indispensable link in the work of the Yerevan Cultural Complex, ensuring its viability.
