A MEETING TOOK PLACE BETWEEN ARCHBISHOP NAVASARD KCHOYAN AND ARAM SATIAN

Today, April 18, at the Primacy of Araratian Patriarchal Diocese, His Grace Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, and the Chairman of the CUA Aram Satian spoke. Choirmaster Grigor Harutyunyan was also present.

The purpose of the meeting was to announce the Pan-Armenian Choral Festival dedicated to the 170th anniversary of Christophor Kara-Murza, organized by CUA.

Having received the blessing of His Hollyness Navasard, CUA Chairman Aram Satian and choirmaster Grigor Harutyunyan presented to His Hollyness the order and purpose of the festival, that is, the popularization and dissemination of the works of armenian composers. As part of the festival, choirs from art, music and secondary schools will perform.

The Holy Father approved the project, giving a blessing to the organizers and participants of the festival. We sincerely hope that the cooperation between CUA and the Araratian Patriarchal Diocese will be fruitful.
