On April 4, 2023, a meeting of the musicology department of the Academy of Musicology was held at the Academy of Musicology.
CUA Chairman Aram Satian introduced the newly elected head of the CUA musicology department, Doctor of Art History, Professor Anna Asatryan. A. Satian emphasized the role of musicologists both in the musical life of CUA and the republic and wished success in the work of the branch.
Professor A. Asatryan thanked Aram Satian and the CUA Council for their trust.

Carry out the activities of the musicological department of the NAS RA in the following important areas:
Scientific activities: conducting scientific research and organizing scientific events together with the Institute of Arts of the NAS RA
Musical criticism.
On June 13, 2023, together with the Institute of Arts of the NAS RA, they convene a scientific conference “Historical significance of the activities of Christophor Kara-Murza”, dedicated to the 170th anniversary of the birth of the composer, ensemble leader, and musicians, public figure and music critic.
On June 27-28, 2023, together with the Institute of Arts of the NAS RA, they are convening a two-day scientific conference “NAS RA – 80. Encouragers of Armenian academic art”: Christophor Kushnaryan.”
Ensure the participation of musicologists in concerts organized by CUA, in the form of an opening speech.
Ensure that musicologists provide media coverage of concerts and other events organized by CUA.
