2 CONCERTS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF THE HONORED ARTIST OF THE RA, COMPOSER LEVON CHAUSHYAN

On March 11 and 12, 2 concerts of Armenian music dedicated to the memory of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, composer LEVON CHAUSHYAN were held in the cities of Providence and Arlington, USA.

The concerts were organized by the initiative of the Composers Union of Armenia, the Amaras Cultural Alliance and the Cultural Committee of the Armenian Church of Saints Sahak and Mesrop.

The following took part in the concert:

Anahit Chaushyan (piano), Knarik Nerkararyan (soprano) and Levon Hovsepyan (piano).

The welcoming speech was given by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, co-chairman of the Foreign Committee of CUA Konstantin Petrossian.

The program included works by Komitas, Geghuni Chtchyan, Levon Chaushyan, Aram Satyan, Gayane Chebotaryan, Konstantin Petrosyan, Martin Vardazaryan and Alexander Achemyan.
