60 years ago, in May 1963, the only House of Composers’ Creativity in the region was opened in Dilijan, the complex which included only 12 cottages. Construction began in 1961. The initial cost of the project was set at 215,000 rubles, which, however, was not enough. Thanks to E. Mirzoyan, within 2 years the amount increased to 6,000,000 rubles (in new money). Later, 13 more cottages were built (25 in total), the complex has a guest house, an outdoor swimming pool. And later, the pearl of the Creative house – the Concert Hall after L. van Beethoven was built, which we will introduce you to further.

The architect of the complex is E. Altunyan, since 2013 it has been named after its founder – the great composer E. Mirzoyan. The second part of the 10th Anniversary E. Mirzoyan Competition will take place here. From May 12 to 14, the participants will live in a creative house with rich historical traditions, where the second stage of the competition and the gala concert will take place.
