On March 11 and 12, 2 concerts of Armenian music dedicated to the memory of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, composer LEVON CHAUSHYAN were held in the cities of Providence and Arlington, USA.<\/p>\n

The concerts were organized by the initiative of the Composers Union of Armenia, the Amaras Cultural Alliance and the Cultural Committee of the Armenian Church of Saints Sahak and Mesrop.<\/p>\n

The following took part in the concert:<\/p>\n

Anahit Chaushyan (piano), Knarik Nerkararyan (soprano) and Levon Hovsepyan (piano).<\/p>\n

The welcoming speech was given by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, co-chairman of the Foreign Committee of CUA Konstantin Petrossian.<\/p>\n

The program included works by Komitas, Geghuni Chtchyan, Levon Chaushyan, Aram Satyan, Gayane Chebotaryan, Konstantin Petrosyan, Martin Vardazaryan and Alexander Achemyan.<\/p>\n
