Born on 14/03/1972 in Vanadzor
Clarinet department at the Vanadzor Music School (teachers. R. Riganyan, N. Yetimyan)
1990-1995 – composition department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. Ed. Mirzoyan)
1997 – post-graduate course at the YSCK
1993-2003 – Gandzasar Theological Center (music editor of the of hymnology department)
1990 – Sonata for clarinet and piano (in memory of the victims of the 1988 earthquake)
1991 – Piece for piano dedicated to S. Boyajyan
1992 – Scherzo and Perpetuum Mobile for 2 pianos
1993 – Quintet for flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and double bass
1993 – “Counrty Images”, for soloists and mixed choir (in memory of Komitas)
1995 – Symphony for contralto and large symphonic orchestra (in memory of his aunt)
1998 – “NAREK” symphony-cantata No. 1, for baritone, large symphonic orchestra, mixed and children’s choirs, organ and 2 cassettes
1999 – “Bless the Lord”, for mixed choir and organ
2000 – “Message to the Lion…” symphony-cantata No. 2 (unfinished), for soprano, baritone, large symphonic orchestra, mixed choir and organ
Spiritual and Folk Music Competition dedicated 125th anniversary of Komitas (2nd prize for “Counrty Images”)
1999 – Vienna International Composer’s Competition (main prize for “NAREK”)
1998-1999 – pension for the composer-residence at the Telenhaus in Edenkoben (by the department of culture of DEUTSCH BANK)
1999 – Alexander Zemlinsky International Symphonic Music Competition, USA (Finalist for Symphony)
