BIOGRAPHY

2001 – graduated from the piano department of the music school after. A. Hekimyan

2003 – graduated from school No. 1 in Stepanavan

2001-2008 – regularly attended journalism, photography, and cinema clubs at the Manana children’s and youth educational and cultural complex

2003 – entered the department of the vocal theory of the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. S. Danielyan). At the same time he entered the composition department (prof. L. Chaushyan)

2008 – entered the graduate school of the vocal faculty of the YSCK

2012 – as a free student, attended courses in electroacoustic music at the Academy (Conservatory) after F. Chopin in Warsaw (Prof. B. Ogon-Makowska). Took private lessons from K. Hay, teacher of electroacoustic music at the F. Chopin Academy in Warsaw

2012 – improved at the Munich School of Music and Theater (prof. J. Müller-Wieland)

In September 2010, he founded and still heads the non-governmental organization “Association of Young Armenian Composers and Performers”, within the framework of which many events are initiated in Yerevan, in the regions of Armenia, as well as abroad.

2010-2012 – worked as a music editor in the editorial office of the international magazine of the YSCK “Musical Armenia”

2012 – from February to July he was a fellow of the “Gaude Polonia” program of the Polish Ministry of Culture (program director P. Mikieti)

2009 – music for the play “The Wooden Man” directed by S. Safaryan (based on S. Zoryan), which premiered in November at the «Hamazgayin Theater». In 2010, the play was shown on tour in the city of Hrazdan, and then was presented as part of the republican festival “Theater X”

2003 – At the competition-festival “Youth and Peace”, organized by the Children and Youth Cultural Center “Manana” and UNIFEM, in the category of literary works, the story “There will be no war tomorrow” took 3rd place (1st prize – not awarded)

2008 – Diploma of the Vocal Competition after L. Saryan

2009 – In the competition of articles organized by the Republican Party of Armenia, on the topic “The Teachings of G. Nzhdeh and its Relevance” took 2nd place (1st prize was not awarded)

2010 – defended a scientific thesis at the National Academy of Sciences on the topic “Performance and compositional features of vocal-chamber works of Armenian composers (60s of the 20th century – early 21st century)”, received the title of Candidate of Arts (supervisor: Candidate of Art History, prof. M . Kokzhaev)

2011 – At the 3rd International Competition-Festival “Renaissance” as a vocalist he was awarded a certificate of encouragement from the trade union committee

2012 – The publishing house of the YSCK awarded with the “I. Tigranov” prize for the best critical article of the year

2012 – At the Renaissance competition-festival of young composers and performers he was awarded with the title of 2nd degree laureate for the vocal work “If you know”

2012 – At the “Republican Competition of Chamber-Instrumental Music of Young Composers” he was awarded with a diploma and an audience award
