1969-1973թթ. ուսանել է Երևանի Առնո Բաբաջանյանի անվան պետական երաժշտամանկավարժական ուսումնարանում:

1973-1978թթ. ուսանել է Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիայի (ԵՊԿ) կոմպոզիցիայի բաժնում (ղեկ.` Է. Միրզոյան):

1993-2004 – A. Tigranyan music school (teacher)

1994-2000 – “Sharakan” public radio ensemble (art director)

1998-2002 – RA Ministry of Culture (chief specialist)

Since 2003 – National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after Al. Spendiaryan (editor, adviser)

1970 – “Blue Eternity” symphony-cantata for soloists, choir and orchestra (by L. Mirijyan)

1974 – Concerto for viola and orchestra No. 1

1977 – “Song about the crane” cantata for choir and orchestra (by G. Emini)

1981 – Concerto for viola and orchestra No. 2

1982 – “Magnificant” for 3 soloists, choir and orchestra

1984 – “Requiem” for 4 soloists, choir and orchestra, to the victory of the victims of the Second World War (by R. Rozhdestvensky, translation by V. Davtyan)

1984 – “Relaxing Melody” for piano quartet

1986 – “Hayk and Bel” oratorio for 5 soloists, choir and orchestra (non-traditional composition) by M. Khorenatsi’s “History of Armenia”

1989-2008 – “Spitak” symphony dedicated to the 1988 earthquake victims in Spitak, for solo viola, large symphony orchestra, orchestra of oriental (folk) instruments and pantomime theater with the screening of film footage

1993 – Sonata for cello and piano (to Artsakh hero T. Krpeyan)

1995 – “Poem” for baritone, choir and orchestra (by V. Tekeyan)

1995 – “Sirius” concert-fantasy for 2 cellos and orchestra
