Born on 31/01/1965 in Yerevan.
1982 – graduated from P. I. Tchaikovsky music school.
1983-1988 – piano (prof. N. Shamakhyan) and composition (prof. Gh. Saryan) departments at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK)
1989-1991 – post-graduate course of composition at the YSCK (prof. Gh. Saryan)
1988-2009 – YSCK (composition lecturer)
2008 – Master classes under the leadership of Scottish composer J. McLeod
2013-2016 – Composers Union of Armenia (secretary)
