BIOGRAPHY

Graduated from the piano department at the National Music Academy after A. Nezhdanova in Odessa

Graduated from the Post-graduate studies at the Conservatory after N. Rimsky-Korsakov (History of piano art)

1989-2019 – head of the department of history, theory and pedagogy at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK)

The scope of research is quite wide. performance art, piano pedagogy, contemporary compositional art, general music education, art of musical improvisation.

 

Author of more than 70 scientific and methodological published works, including monographs, educational manuals and articles published in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yerevan publishing houses, “Soviet Music”, “Musical Life”, “Music in the USSR” , “Musical Academy”, “Musical Enlightenment”, “Literary Armenia”, “Art”, “Musical Armenia” magazines.
