BIOGRAPHY

1978-1984 – piano and musicology departments at the State music college after R. Melikyan (profs. V. Umi-Shat, R. Petrosyan)

1984-1989 – musicology department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (profs. A. Budaghyan, R. Stepanyan, N. Deroyan)

1991-1993 – Post-graduate program of the Russian Institute of Arts (prof. I. Yolyan)

2001 – Graduated from the Yerevan State University Practical Psychology Center

2006 – Graduated from the regional studies department of the Caucasian Media Institute

1987 – Laboratory assistant at the YSCK (P. Tchaikovsky pensioner and president of the Student Scientific and Creative Society)

1989 – Deputy director of the YSCK library for scientific affairs

1993 – training seminar for musicologists of the Creative House of Composers in Ivanovo (Dr.: M. Aranovsky)

1995 – PhD in Moscow (“About the problem of national tradition in the musical culture of Armenia”)

1991 – Co-author of the first educational manual of musical sociology in Armenia
