1960 – graduated from violin department at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSCK) (prof. H. Bogdanyan)
1963 – graduated from musicology department at the YSCK (prof. G. Tigranov)
1967 – graduated from musicology department at the Leningrad State Conservatory (prof. G. Tigranov)
1970 – PhD at the Leningrad State Conservatory on the topic (“Paths of development of the violin sonata in Armenia”)
1963 – The State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia (music editor)
1963 – Organiziner and conducting concert-lectures within the framework of the Armenian Philharmonic, the “School Philharmonic”, the “Music Interlocutor”, the Composers Union of Armenia (about 4,000 performances)
Since 1967 – Lecturer of “History of Music” at YSCK
Since 1993 – Lecturer at the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema
