VLADILEN BALYAN 100

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the RA people’s artist, composer Vladilen Balyan. He composed works in different genres: symphonic, chamber, vocal-instrumental and choral. He is the author of many songs, including “Gyumri-Leninakan”, which is now the anthem of Gyumri. The creative path of Vladilen Balyan is closely connected with Gyumri, and today in Gyumri School of Arts No. 1 and in the park on Rustaveli Street events dedicated to the composer’s 100th anniversary were held.
