THE “PRIME EVENT OF ARMENIAN ACADEMIC ART” STARTED. THE SERIES OF SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES OF NAS RA – 80 “CHRISTOPHOR KUSHNARYAN”

The conference “NAS RA – 80. Honorary Diplomas of Armenian Academic Art Criticism” started. The series of scientific conferences “Christophor Kushnaryan”, the purpose of which is to reveal the significant role of NAS RA in the development of Armenian art criticism.

The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by Anna Asatryan – Director of the Institute of Arts of NAS RA, Aram Satyan – Chairman of the CUA and Academician Yuri Suvaryan. Anna Arevshatyan, Mher Navoyan, Anahit Baghdasaryan. Marianna Tigranyan, Gohar Shagoyan, Hasmik Harutyunyan, Lilit Yernjakyan, Rita Aghayan, Edgar Gyanjumyan, Ani Hakobyan and Hovhannes Manukyan Also made presentations.

The conference also featured a presentation of the “Biography” by Karine Khudabashyan, a student of Ch. Kushnaryan, head of the folklore department of the Institute of Arts of the NAS RA, Honored Artist of the RA.

On June 28th, the second session was held (starting at 11:00, in the conference hall of the Presidium of the NAS RA).

The scientific conference is being held within the framework of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the NAS RA jointly with the Institute of Arts of the NAS RA and the CUA.
