On February 25th, 1991, on the initiative of the Composers Union of Armenia, a concert of folk instrument orchestras was held in the Concert Hall of the Armenian Musical Society.

The program included: H. Avetisyan, G. Hakhinyan, R. Petrosyan, M. Beglaryan, V. Balyan, H. Manvelyan, N. Aslanyan, R. Ghazaryan, A. Ikilikyan, G. Manasyan.

The opening speech was given by Candidate of Art History T. Oganesyan.
